Tracking and Insurance Tracking When UniqueBruce receives payment from a winning bidder, your item is sent priority mail with a delivery confirmation number. If you wanted the item even faster than priority mail (express mail-overnight shipment) you can also track that shipment with the tracking number I supply with the On the Way email. Not many people need the express mail as it is $16.25 just for the postage for the overnight service and most of our items are not critical. If you wish to see where your item has been scanned for delivery confirmation you can go to http://www.usps.com. At the top of the page usually in a red menu bar you will find the menu item Track/Confirm. Click on that and you will see the tracking/confirmation page. There is a box there to put in the confirmation number that I have included at the end of your ON THE WAY email. Put that number into the box and press GO by the box. Wait a little bit and it should give you the information you seek. Either it will tell you when it was delivered, or it will tell you when it was accepted (when I got my butt down to the Post Office to mail it) and to check back later. Insurance If you receive a damaged package, then you must go to your post office and file a claim, (don't forget to bring the damaged item with you) as soon as possible. If you have a complete loss, (meaning you never got the little beggar) then you must contact UniqueBruce as quickly as possible and we will file a claim and either send your money back or if we have an additional item that you won, we will send it as a replacement. The biggest problem in this area is not knowing what to do. In each auction UniqueBruce puts up, we state that we know that "stuff" happens. Please let us know what's happening with any difficulty. The only neutral feedback we have received was because we never got any communication about the problem. It was a lost package but after emailing the winning bidder about what to do, as stated above, we never heard again until a neutral feedback showed up. Let me know and we'll fix it the best we can. |
